About Bangalore Institute of Technology

Bangalore Institute of Technology admission process for the academic year 2024-25 has started. The admission to B.Tech courses is carried out on the basis of JEE Main and KCET scores. JEE Main 2024 session 2 results have been released by NTA on April 24, 2024. The KCET 2024 result is scheduled to be released by KEA on May 20, 2024. The provisional answer key for KCET 2024 has been released on April 29, 2024.

Bangalore Institute of Technology was established in 1979 in Bangalore. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Bangalore Institute of Technology is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the NBA. The institute has an intake of 1452 students with 262 qualified teaching faculties. There are a total of 26 Bangalore Institute of Technology courses, out of which 13 are undergraduate courses and 6 are postgraduate courses.   • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other equivalent examination recognised by the Visvesvaraya Technology University.

Dear Student,

You can sit for the Karnataka PGCET exam for CSE paper even after being an ECE non-Karnataka student. There are no restrictions for students of other states to join the Karnataka PGCET exam. However, it is important for the other states’ students to meet the eligibility criteria in order to take the exam. The criterion to be eligible states that the students need to score a minimum of 50% in their graduation. You should also note that those belonging to the SC/ ST category shall be considered as the General category students in contrast to the other states’ categories.

For LPUNEST, candidates can select their preferred exam center while booking their test slot. The centers are available across multiple cities in India. Once the slot is booked, the hall ticket is generated, which contains details such as the exam date, time, and center address. Candidates must download the hall ticket from the official LPU website and carry it to the exam center for entry.
